Prep Old and Unused Prescriptions for Take-Back Day

Too often, unused prescriptions drugs find their way into the wrong hands.
Clean out your medicine cabinet and bring your unused, unwanted or expired prescriptions to National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Drug Take Back Day will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Visalia Police Department Headquarters on 303 S. Johnson Street.

All drop-offs are completely confidential and anonymous. An officer will be on hand to take your unneeded medications and dispose of them in a safe manner.
Ready to prep for drop off? Remove pills, capsules, and tablets from containers. Dispose of empty containers in recycling bin and place loose medication in a zip-lock, plastic bag.
What's accepted? Expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications and vitamins including pet medications. Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps, and illicit drugs.
